Our organically crafted Citronella Java Essential Oil is steam distilled from the tall, green blades of Cymbopogon winterianus grass, also popularly known as Citronella Grass, growing wild in Indonesia. Citronella Essential Oil has a medium-strength sweet, citrusy, lemony, woodsy aroma presenting a top-middle fragrance note. It blends especially well with Herbal & Ayurvedic Product > Essential & Aromatic Oils in the citrus, floral, wood, grass, and herbaceous families.

There are two types of Citronella Essential Oil we carry – the Citronella Essential Oil extracted from Citronella Java grass, which is particularly sought after by natural perfumists due to its lovely, complex aromatic profile. It has a fresh, powerful, lemon-like scent and is higher in Citronellal and Citronellol than the Ceylon or Nardus variety. This means that the antiseptic and antimicrobial actions will be more powerful and therefore the deodorizing effects will also be more effective.REPORTED BENEFITS AND USES
