Our organically crafted Grapefruit Oil is cold pressed from the lusciously fragrant rinds of the Citrus paradisi fruit harvested from orchards in the South African countryside. Reviving, uplifting and imparting emotional buoyancy, our Grapefruit Essential Oil has a fresh, light, citrusy, sweet, slightly bitter aroma, with a rather pithy note in the drydown, thanks to certain chemical constituents found only in Grapefruits.

Grapefruit Oil, like all citrus peel oils, have a predominance of Limonene, the bright, lemony monoterpene that provides an absolutely delightful aroma when diffused to refresh and disinfect room environments. Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) is a hybrid of Pomelo (Citrus maxima) and Sweet Orange (Citrus x sinensis). Its olfactory character is almost entirely attributed to powerful trace components, most notably Nootkatone and traces of a sulfur-containing compound.REPORTED BENEFITS AND USES
